The 13 annual meeting and 8th conference of HEPA Europe took place in Zagreb, Croatia, Nov 15-17, 2017. Our researcher, Petru Sandu, participated in the conference with two oral presentations regarding the DIYPES project.

The aim of this project is to stimulate participation and engagement of high-school students in physical education classes, and thus increasing the total amount of physical activity in this population sub-group. The first presentation included the overall rationale, aim, methods and activities of the DIYPES project and the second presented the project intervention standard operating procedure development.

HEPA Europe conferences are an ideal setting for networking and exchanging ideas and expertise in the field of physical activity in Europe and beyond. In 2018, the 9th HEPA Europe Conferene will be held in London 15-17 Oct, in collaboration with ISPAH and in 2019 the 15th annual meeting and 10th conference will be hosted by our DIYPES project partner, the University of Southern Denmark, in the timeframe 28-30 August.
