Policy briefs
Cluj School of Public Health conducts research on important public health topics relevant regionally and internationally. One of the C-SPH goals is to inform policymakers, develop recommendations and provide arguments in order to facilitate the process of decision-making and sustain evidence-based policy-making. C-SPH policy brief are meant to inform and summarize important research conducted by C-SPH staff and its partners. The Policy Briefs reflect the views of C-SPH.
1. Reducing children’s unintentional injuries (June 2010) is a C-SPH policy brief that acknowledges the most important unintentional injuries that affect children locally. The following document is a tool used to inform stakeholders, decision-makers or policy-makers about the urgency of injury and violence prevention topic and outline alternative methods that could serve as actions to prevent injuries and violent events.

2. Minimum data collection MDS-IDB (December 2013) is a C-SPH policy brief developed as partner within the JAMIE Project – Joint Action on Monitoring Injuries in Europe (Acţiune Comună privind Monitorizarea Leziunilor în Europa). The aim of this document is to inform stakeholders, decision-makers or policy-makers and anyone interested in the field about injuries registered in 5 emergency departments in Romania.

3. Potentially dangerous products for children (September 2014) is another C-SPH policy brief developed as partner within the JAMIE Project – Joint Action on Monitoring Injuries in Europe. This short report presents data on injuries resulted as consequence of interaction with infant or child products among children aged 0-18 years in 5 emergency departments in Romania.
